BMW's New 5 Series

Today I wanted to take sometime to discuss BMW's 5 series. The entire purpose of this series is to add a little bit more executive look to the BMW's brand. I am very impressed however by the new look that BMW has decided to go with in creating this vehicle. When compared to the 3 series the purpose of the five series was to not look as sporty; however, the new body of the car has been able to achieve both a more sporty look without loosing the executive style. The new more aggressive round front of the vehicle and dual exhaust tips on the rear are my favorite additions to the car. Below you will find the performance statistics to the vehicle.

Performance statistics for BMW's 528i/535i/550i

2011 BMW 528i 0-60 mph 6.5  Quarter Mile 14.5   MPH (city)  18  MPH (highway)  28

2011 BMW 535i 0-60 mph 5.5  Quarter Mile 13.9   MPH (city)  19  MPH (highway)  28

2011 BMW 550i 0-60 mph 4.9  Quarter Mile 13.7   MPH (city)  15  MPH (highway)  22

With a price tag starting at $45,425,  $50,475,  $60,575 respectively, I feel this is a great vehicle now that it has a new body style. I honestly would not have recommended this car in the past but now really do appreciate BMW's consistent innovation.
